In an epic rally this past weekend at the 2009 Bassmaster Classic, dubbed the "Super Bowl of fishing," Wiley X angler Skeet Reese edged out a field of fifty-one top anglers to gain professional fishing's highest honor and a $500k prize purse in his tenth Classic appearance. Alpen Optics continues to impress magazine editors from some of the largest outdoor publications in the land. Field & Stream Magazine recently did a field test comparing five different spotting scopes to see which spotting scopes performed the best. A variety of tests were performed - how well they performed in low light, how easy they are to hold one-handed, how sharp they are, and how bright they are were a few of the tests performed.
