Feeder Meter

Feeder Meter
Summary:

This is a great new invention called "Feeder Meeter". You attach it to your deer feeder and it is a visual aid to help determine if the buck you are looking at meets the 13" rule.

PENS

PENS
Summary:

My brother and I have been building these sanctuary pens to provide food and water for the wildlife. Now I don't know, if it is just deer camp myth, but the cattle and hogs have been respecting them. They don't make an effort to come in. I had tried everything else, barb wire fencing, electric fences, etc, and it just wouldn't keep them out. Now the deer camp myth I had heard was that hogs and cattle are afraid of the red color. These pens are primer red and I haven't been (knock on wood) hassled by the cattle and hogs yet. I have pictures of them going by them, but not entering. So I may be convinced that the red color may have something to do with it, so I am going to paint every feeder leg, trough, pen, the deepest cherry red color I can find.
