Sort your results:Existing Search Criteria:Refine Your Search:Search Results:Dilley Dove HuntSummary: Went over to Dilley Monday to hunt doves. It started out bad - nothing was going right for me and I just couldn't hit a thing. To top it all off had a flat tire late in the day out in the dove field. I had planned to go over to Rockport for a duck hunt for Tuesday but could not find anyone to...
We shot dove!
Summary: As big and black as Buddy is, you need to make sure he stays hydrated, especially on hot days like we're having now. That black fur will just suck the heat into his body so try to keep him in the shade as much as possible too.
(As an example, I can load a white refrigerator onto the back of my trailer on a hot sunny day with no gloves, but a black refrigerator will burn the dickens out of my hands after it has been in the sun for less than a minute!!)
Hello...againSummary: Suggest you try Terry Hahn for a bunch of stuff - just not dove hunting. There are much better places to dove hunt than that part of Texas. I hope to go over to near Dilley for opening weekend (don't know which day yet) and you are welcome to meet me over there if you want.
Its $60 for the day and you'll see a whole bunch of doves then.
Just let me know.
