Since my retriever is out with a broken leg, I use my son to fetch my ducks. Wingdinger is almost as good as a dog.

I took these two pro's duck hunting with me the last week of the season. They both shoot that Mossberg Bantam in a .20 ga. (A great youth gun), and I was impressed not only with their shooting, but their ability to sit still and wait on the shot. Both of these boys are going to grow into great waterfowlers. Oh yeah, that's my dog Laverne hamming it up with them.

My son and our little neighbor "Oliver". Oliver is shown holding his first duck ever, a nice redhead drake, after our hunt this morning. As you can see, he is pretty proud.

This is my dog Laverne retrieving a duck on Saturday the 27th. It is a nice gadwall drake, but what I like about the picture is that her mirror image is reflecting in the water.

Shirley flushed up this nice pheasant for me up in South Dakota.
