Summary: I was going through hunting gear, cleaning up the garage today, and my son laid down on the floor with the dog and asked, "did you do this when you were my age?". It reminded me of many hours laying in the grass with my head against my yellow lab, watching the clouds go by in the sky. I don't remember fire ants, yellow jackets, or anything else interfering with my day when I was his age.
