Baobab Game Ranch derives its name from the great, majestic, 2000 year old Baobab Tree which is found on the ranch. It there fore is only fitting to name the Ranch in its honour.

Concessions are located in the northern areas of Namibia. It houses a biotope which varies from Tambuti Tree forest to open savanna. Game species found on Baobab Game Ranch are Greater Kudu, Oryx, Eland, Zebra, Hardebeest, Blesbok, Warthog, Steenbok, Duiker, Damara Dik-Dik, and the Jackal.

Not only the abundance of game but also the breath-taking splendour of this wonderful piece of nature charm visitors with peace and tranquillity under the African sun during the day and its magnificent starlit sky at night.

Your hosts, Helmuth, Margaret and Frank Friederich, born Namibians, whose families have been here since 1903. Helmuth and Frank grew up in the area where the bushmen are at home, they consequently speak the Hai//om (San) language fluently and understand the San culture.

Helmuth is a registered master hunting guide and a Bow hunting guide. Frank is a registered PH and a bowhunting guide while Margaret is a registered master hunting guide.

We don't just offer affordable hunting safaris but also deep sea and freshwater fishing, photographic safaris and cultural safaris.

Our prices are fair and affordable!, We specialize in small groups of not more than 4 hunters at the most 6 hunters sharing or 2 couples. We try to execute the hunts according to the wishes of the clients, where possible as far as possible.

Baobab is officially registered as a hunting and a bowhunting farm.
