dont forget about muzzle loader season!!!!! friday evening had a doe come zooming by at 30 yards, tried to get on her but it was too thick.then i looked back and there was another one standing there so i moved to get on it and saw that it had horns coulndt tell what all it had, to small anyway. may have seen a spike on one side??? but already have my buck. so, anyway about 2 minutes later these 3 dogs come out in the same place. i was maaaddddddd. they all three had the same red collar on so i let them all walk off. i thought someone may have been out just walking aroundwith their dogs. but right at dark,( there was a guy hunting down the road where i wanted to hunt but let him have it to his self and went 1/2 mile down)he cut loose with 2 shots and i heard one off the dogs yelping, so he didnt let them just walk off, (good man in my opinion) isnt there a leash law for dogs in the forrest????? Who's got a good duck recipe?Summary:
We either make duck nuggets or duck fajitas with our duck. Duck nuggets are easy, and a huge crowd pleaser. Cut your duck breast into cubes and soak in cold water to bleed out the meat. Then take the juice of one can sliced jalapeno's and mix with an equal part of soy sauce. Set the jalapeno's aside. Add garlic powder to the mixture if you have it. Add the duck cubes to the mixture and marinate as long as you want. At least two hours. Once marinated, slice up a couple big sweet onions, and get a pound of bacon and some toothpicks. Take a cube of meat, a jalapeno slice, and an onion slice, put together and wrap with a half a slice of bacon. Put a toothpick to hold together. Throw on a hot grill, and when the bacon is cooked and crispy, they are ready to eat. Sometimes we add a nice hunk of cream cheese into the onion slice. Makes them really good. There won't be any leftovers. For duck fajitas, bleed out the whole breasts in cold water, then marinate in a mixture of lime juice, beer, cumin, chili powder and onion powder or salt. Cook them medium rare medium on a grill or really hot skillet. Serve with tortillas and all the other fajita fixins. These are very good.

I live on Conroe. We use cut perch or shad. I prefer rod and reel but when I need a mess I will jug. There is nothing like catching these on a rod and reel. You may wait a while to get a big one to bite. I know from previous years of posting you do a little catfishing after deer season. I like shallow windy banks. Just so you don't get too concerned, the bones in the fish I catch are too big to choke on. people steeling hunting stuff!!Summary:
Idiots are just low down and too cheap to go out and buy their own stuff. I have a buddy who scouts the grasslands for us who had a trail cam hidden and chained & locked to a tree near a huge rub line. Had been sending me some great pics of turkey and deer from a few locations he planned on putting some of our guys on. He went back to retrieve the camera to see the big monster that had been tearing up all the trees out there and found that someone had taken the time to go get bolt cutters, cut the chain and take everything. Now I know it's a big risk doing something like that on public land, but still people shouldn't have to sink so low. Makes you want to have a stakeout catch 'em in the act and snipe them right in the left butt cheek...Now if yall hear of someone getting shot in the Arse...I didn't do it...LOL! < Previous Page 1228 results found Next Page >Showing results 11 through 20
