You wont get Crappie at Calaveras but good cat fishing. From the shore fish the point between the two ramps on the side of the deep water ramp. The one on the right. Use Big Marvs punch bait (sold in the shop) and cast at the "no wake" bouys.

I AM very proud of ALL the fish I catch.  When I say Private.. its in a private community that only the people that live in the community and there guest get to fish it.  I catch lots of fish on Lake Conroe and Raybun.  FYI.. Crappie are good on Conroe right now..  So hope to see you out there :)  im not the crazy one on here honey you are.. listen to yourself.  you are just young and immature.   Grow up son!  I dont need to ask people on here where to catch fish and kill birds like you do.. I know where to go..  dont be upset that a lady can out fish and hunt you :)  take a chill pill SON!

I dont know about Chambers but I fish Toledo and they are just moving up. Everything seems to be a couple of weeks behind this year. Worked out good for turkey season though!
