The Texas Wildlife Association has named Gary Joiner to the organization's newly-created position of Chief Executive Officer.

The Trinity Basin Conservation Foundation (TBCF) will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on October 17, 2008 at the Parten family’s 7J Ranch in Houston County, west of Crockett, Texas.  The theme of this year’s meeting is “Linkages among urban and rural Texans, conservation, and the Trinity River”.

The Texas Big Game Awards (TBGA) 17th annual Cross Timbers (Region 3) Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Abilene Civic Center in Abilene, Texas.

The Texas Deer Association (TDA) is proud to announce it has partnered with the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance (ADWA) and is supporting the organization’s efforts to help educate the public on deer and wildlife issues. ADWA is a new non-profit organization established to better represent deer and wildlife associations, service providers and equipment manufacturers on a national level.

The Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) is celebrating 23 years of promoting effective habitat conservation and responsible hunting through private land stewardship at its annual convention “WildLife 2008,” June 27-28, 2008. The convention, touted as one of the “family-friendliest parties in Texas,” will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio.
