Drug Residue Study In White-tailed Deer

Summary:

A cooperative research study between the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University and the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, College Station determined that tissue residues on the 11th day post-treatment in chemically immobilized white-tailed deer were at minimal levels.

Toyota Texas Bass Classic Returns to Lake Conroe October 1 – 3

The Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) will return to Lake Conroe in 2010. The tournament received tremendous support in its first year on the Houston-area lake and will be held for the second time October 1 – 3. Ticketed activities for fans, including concerts, weigh-ins and expo areas, will take place October 2 and 3 at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center. The event benefits the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and its outdoor recreation programs. 

Culbertson and Davis score the first win for Bass Champs North Region at Lake Fork

After the original kick off for the North Region had to be postponed due to dangerous winter weather, things got back on track March 13 as 471 teamed competitors merged on Lake Fork. This was the highest participation in the north region since 2005.
