They don't call them 'billfish' for nothing.  I've heard of mates getting stabbed try to boat marlins before.

Shooting something that can hunt you back with a muzzleloader at 1.5 feet isn't what I call rowing with both oars in the water.

Now THAT's food for thought!  Lets see...we'll call it the "First Annual Media Shark Surfing Expo".  As long as we're at it let's host it on the Great Barrier Reef - that way everyone will have a lot of 'action' without having to jump off piers.  We can even throw in free chum (or is it a chum).
