Your work paid off hansomely Jeremy, and to me there's little better than seeing the fruits of your labors.

'Dad' has mostly guided this year, except for taking a couple of cull bucks.  However my youngest son John landed a whoozer of an 8 pt this week as his first deer ever on low-fenced private land in WTX.  I posted some pics as 'John's First Buck'.

Watching my son take his first deer, especially one like that, goes beyond words.

Wow. First, it is amazing that one baby little pig runs off all those bucks with horns. Secondly, great shooting!

Dos Herraduras, Texas Big Bucks Down 180+ Check out this Texas Deer Hunting in Cisco, Texas. The Dos Herraduras Ranch has been intensely managed for over 7 years. All Tagged deer seen in the video were tagged as fawns then released. Some of these deer were only seen once after they were released or when they were shot.

Got this in an email.  These two bucks are fighting it out in some super thick prickly pear and mesquite brush in South Texas.  May the best buck win.

These two deer hunters get caught in an open field and have to use a somewhat different strategy to rattle in two whitetail bucks.

Check out these 11 buck kills from the 2009 Texas Deer Hunting season. You can see the bullet impact on several deer. On the 5th buck you can see the bullet hit water after exiting the deer. On the 6th buck you can see the bullet hit grass and dirt after exiting.

According to the hunting guide all bucks on this video were recovered.
