'Dad' has mostly guided this year, except for taking a couple of cull bucks.  However my youngest son John landed a whoozer of an 8 pt this week as his first deer ever on low-fenced private land in WTX.  I posted some pics as 'John's First Buck'.

Watching my son take his first deer, especially one like that, goes beyond words.

At a my uncles ranch in premont tx.there are too many deer at this ranch its almost unreal.the feeder went off and they were everywhere.anyway this is my 9 pointer,he had a broken ankle from fighting and still was after a doe.i grunted he stopped,put right behind  da shoulder.he stumbled 5 yds and fell.30-06 Browning 125 gr
