We have developed our operation here in South Texas into a haven for the best genetics and breeding program around. Our deer have long well documented lines of origin and breeding backgrounds. Some of our finest deer came from some of the most famous Breeder Buck lines in Texas.

Here at the Broken Spur Ranch, my wife and I are scientific breeders of whitetail.  We have teamed up with Ron Boren of the Well-Renowned Windy-B-Ranch. The Redmon Ranch is located in the Post Oak Savannah Region of Central Texas, just north of Columbus.  The ranch is home of  Classic Whitetail's Breeding Operation. We specialize in breeding classic large typical whitetail deer.

Our deer breeding program is producing some of the finest classic large typical whitetail deer available.  We aquired the Que Pasa breeding operation in 2007, and David Hayward came with the deer as Ranch Manager/Chief Biologist.  David started Que Pasa's operation with high quality full blood South Texas genetics out of Gene Riser's awesome drop tine buck "JESSE" and top bloodlines from the pens of Tommy Dugger back in the late 1990's. With carefully selected genetics from Ohio, Iowa, and Kansas, and also maintaining a pure Texas bloodline, and adding alot of  TLC, while always striving to be "breeding up" has produced awesome typical whitetail bucks.  The "JESSE" influence is apparent when looking at the droptines produced by the pure Texas lines of Annurism, Unico, and Uno Loco. The mass, spread, and tine length resulting from our other selected genetics are obvious in the numerous and consistent 200"+ typicals we have produced.

We are aggressively pursuing our artificial insemenation program to improve upon our already outstanding genetics and to make available limited straws of semen to customers out of our top breeders. We offer bred doe, stocker bucks, breeder bucks, and limited straws of semen.

Woodard Whitetails is a whitetail scientific breeding program located in Big Wells, TX . We are dedicated to growing the largest and healthiest whitetail deer possible. We are committed to continually raising the bar with our genetics by only breeding the best to the best. Our herd genetics represent some of the most well known genetics in North America including Gladiator, Maxbo, Maxin, Bucky, High Roller, and Dream Buck.

We have an aggressive artificial insemination program and breeding strategy to produce consistency in our herd. By focusing on our doe herd and pedigrees, as well as, that of the buck, we are able to produce consistent results in our breed stock time after time.

At Woodard Whitetails we use the latest technology available to ensure our customers that they are getting exactly what they pay for. With ultra sound equipment, we are able to guarantee that any bred doe sold is pregnant when she is loaded into the trailer. We have all of our breeders certified with DNA Solutions and by 2007 will have every buck, doe and fawn with parentage DNA.

In addition to detailed record keeping, we implant microchips in our deer for security and identification records, again ensuring our customers about the whitetail they are getting. Also, we have a new bottle raising facility, as well as, a new handling facility, both using the latest and greatest deer handling equipment available.

The Triple AAA & J Ranch built their first breeder pen in 1998 and now has five breed pens and three buck grow-out pens.  We started with genetics from Antler Ranch and Cotton Mesa and have diversified with genetics from Robert Williams bloodlines (thru Jim Browning), and the Gene Gonzalez bloodline (thru Ron Mostyn).

Our breeding pens now consist of deer bred and raised from these genetics. We have always concentrated on large main frame typicals with oustanding antler mass. We have over 100 bucks in our grow-out pens from 1 to 3 years of age. Our 1 year olds have scored as high as the mid 130's,our 2 year olds have scored as high as the low 190's and we have had our 3 year olds score in access of 210 B&C. Our 3 year olds in 2007 averaged 175 gross. We offer breeding age or bred does on a limited basis.

V-Tex Whitetails is in its 12th year of breeding and raising whitetails.  Most of our original bloodlines consist of South Texas genetics from the well know bucks of Sal, Primo, Paco and the Schulte Buck.  Northern genetics include Kansas, as well as, Herb GSells’ Patrick line from Pennsylvania. We have 5 years experience with artificial insemination of whitetails and currently have over 60 AI sired whitetails in our pens and AI’ed 63 does this past fall.

Having been a professional wildlife management consultant for more than 30 years, we finally decided to practice what we had been preaching. In 2003 we high fenced about 800 acres of our Saint Jo ranch and designed a state of the art A.I. facility and breeding pens.

Our primary selection criterion has been trophy quality antlers at an early age (minimum 220” by age 3); many have exceeded this by age 2.  Our final product then is a trophy buck that can be released at age 3, and make a significant genetic contribution to our managed pasture deer herd.
