HERES A GOODLOOKING BUCK AND HUNTER   WAY TO GO !!!!!!!!

South Texas buck I wanted to let a couple of more years grow but to afraid my neighbors who have the it's brown it's down motto would take it.

Just thought I would share the biggest deer I have ever shot.  Not to mention with my bow.  My son was not sure what to think of the ole buck.  I think my taxidermist did a very good job especially for $50.00.   By the way, if you can tell the color of the horns,  they are not dyed.  Everyone who has seen the deer ask if they were.

SOUTH TX. STAR COUNTY BUCK

Starr County, TX.  DEC 30, 2010...I passed up a nice 8 and was regreting it in the morning but instead I was rewarded 2 hours later with this  11pt.  

Beautiful 12 pointer I just discovered was on our lease. Would love to get a shot at him. 

early october i had this buck 25 yards and let him walk for breeding purposes. hoped to see him after rut with no luck. i dont regret letting him walk--he will be nice next year.

Should i take Him or Wait To See if He Comes Next year ?

Fairly graphic, but a nice buck gets cornered by a couple coyotes in front of a game cam.  Why he didn't run I can't tell - maybe he was hurt early on.
