Great to have all of these boys down again for another fine weekend of dove hunting here at Campos Viejos.  Our "oldest" customers if you will, some have been coming since we bought the place in '01.

From left to right (canine): Molly, Stitch, Roland and Lil' Rosie.  She may be an Italian Mastiff, but she had one fine time playing in the dove field.

This female Scaled Quail is very nervous about her little ones as they take a late afternoon dust bath.

I  have always thought Blue Wings were beautiful ducks.

These two were at a little dove watering hole that we put in a few years ago.

This guy is probably my favorite.  Not only are there fewer of them here, but I just love the violets and purples.  Great color

This is the Varied Bunting.

Truly one of the more beautiful birds in the Rio Grande Valley.

I believe this is the Indigo Bunting you were talking about David.

Cooper's Hawk came in and landed in the edge of the water hole to get a drink.

I plan on making these two part of dinner very soon.
