A short Bear Hunting clip from Alaska

I'm going to assume this is real.  It feels real even though they drop the camera. (And who the hell wouldn't drop the camera??) 

After a couple of hits from the bow the bear doesn't go down but instead charges.  The cameraman has to ditch the camera and shoot the bear to finally bring him down.

INTENSE.

This is a black bear sow in Yellowstone. There are two cubs back in the woods, but Mama never let them get out in the open. I tried to get some pictures of them, but just too much brush where they were hiding.

Mama is getting her breakfast. The cubs are planning on curb service.

I must be in my "up a tree" phase. I found this footage of a young black bear eating buds in a tree near Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau, Alaska. He got attention from a number of visitors until he started coming down the tree. The ranger did not have to "shoo" very hard to get most of the visitors to move back and give him room. Naturally, I stayed as long as I could trying to get more footage!

Somebody goes spotlighting (legal in some parts of the northeast) and gets a good look at a big bear.

While on my trip to Yellowstone National Park last year we ran into several traffic jams beyond the Grizzly bear encounter.  In this short video it seems that a couple of bison were casually strolling down the lane looking for a ride.  I opened the door to our vehicle to offer them one but they just didn't seem interested. 

Once again this only helps prove my theory that, not only, do both male and female Bison have horns but that Germans really do love David Hasslehoff.
