It’s official – all four Bass Champs Texas Regions have now begun. The North Region kicked off February 4th on Cedar Creek with 160 teams vying for a portion of the 105% tournament payback. Every ounce counted as weights were stacked tight! Lee Yowell and Brian Schott came out on top to win over $25,000.

Bass Champs kicked off the first of five events for their Central Region anglers January 28, 2012 on lake LBJ. Twenty one teams were awarded checks in this 105% payback event, but Lance Dillard and Lee Beuershausen were the big winners, taking home more than $25,000.

The 2012 season has begun! Big sacks, huge kickers and humungous paybacks as Bass Champs kicked off with the South Region January 14th on Lake Falcon. Nine double digit bass, four sacks over 40 pounds, and more than $58,000 paid back to participants. Jaime Buitron and Terry Oldham won over $20,000 with their 1st place win.

The plan was simple and the execution was clean at the finale Bass Champs Championship on Lake Falcon October 8-9. There could not have been a bigger nor better grand finale than what was seen in both the sacks brought in and individual bass caught.

Big wins, come-from-behind finishes, humungous payouts at the 2011 Skeeter Bass Champs North Region Championship on Cedar Creek September 17-18. Bill Wilcox and Hugo Velasco took the win and was awarded the Grand Prize Skeeter ZX20 powered by Yamaha SHO 225 and even more sponsor bonuses!

Glitz, glitter, prestige – it was all there for the 2011 Skeeter Bass Champs Central Championship September 10-11, 2011. Teamed anglers from all four Texas regions who qualified to fish converged on Lake Belton to grab a piece of the pie that included a brand new Skeeter ZX20 powere by a Yamaha 225 SHO.

It was a hot day on Cedar Creek July 23, 2011 as the Bass Champs North Region wrapped up the final tournament before the Championships. While less than a half a pound separated 2nd – 6th places, Allen Shelton and Scott Dean dominated the pack by over 4 pounds to win more than $25,000.

There was a lot on the line for anglers as Bass Champs wrapped up the East Region tour on June 18 at Umphrey Family Pavilion on Sam Rayburn. Over $47,000 in paybacks to anglers, final points standings for the winners of the Anglers of the Year race, and qualifying to not one, but four championships later this fall.
