Here's a good tangle free method used by Texas fisherman Jason Perrego.  Fish was caught on a weedless trailer hook attached to a horny toad. Just let the hook hang free with a stopper on the main hook.  It appears to be pretty effective if you are getting alot of blow ups and short strikes and are missing fish.
