I am not sure that this is even real but thought I should present it to ya'll and get some feedback.

So many people have talked negative of the idea of hunting as a pure sport. Where is world hunt association today? What happened to them? What political backlash did they receive?

To a quote a certain member of the TexasHuntFish team:

How do you shoot a deer – and then catch/release? Can’t. Must be killed. Can’t be done just for fun. Bottom line. Period."

Excellent points and something to think about.

I'm gonna jump the gun on this video Lamar sent through an email.  It's just too good not to post instantly!  One last time for this monster buck and his female companion.  Reminds me of a movie I saw once....was it Die Hard?

A wild turkey happens upon a jack rabbit in our front field.  A classic wildlife liquor encounter sure to whet your appetite.  Drink it in.  Come on, just give it a shot.  Just one more?  This is the last one I swear.  Nevermind, just make it a double. ;)

With the lack of rain this year, it appears that the tank next to my folks place is low on water and fish and high on turtles. (We caught the same bass 3 times and several turtles)

Yeah.  I'm pretty sure having a Cape Buffalo inches from his face wasn't part of the normal tour for this driver at Kariega Game Park.

Join Jason Parrish and the TexasHuntFish team as we visit a stunning ranch located on the Pedernales River, just outside of Johnson City. This ranch is currently under siege by feral pigs (aka wild hogs) and the landowner called us in to initate a hog eradication project.

Hunting wild pigs one at a time, or trying to hunt them in general, is not a feasible way to remove wild hogs or persuade them to leave your property. The word "hunting" needs to be replaced with "killing."

We did a sunset hunt on three locations, then corned the main road and shot three more hogs from the roof of our truck with two people on spotlights.

Six pigs on our first night is a good start, but only the beginning.

And yes that is a John's Gun Suppressor on Jason's .308 Remington 700P bolt action rifle.

Well, I snagged a bit of Lamar's video footage and put together some video of my first time deer time hunting.  I can't thank "super guide" Lamar Smith enough for the opportunity to take this Cull Buck.  It's something I'll never forget.
