This was fun! I sat for a red boar and he came in before dark, so as I waited after the shot, a bonus black boar came in. Shot him between the eyes with a 100gr MUZZy and dropped him at 15 yards. Awesome evening for me! Glad I had the tractor to haul them out.

Hunting in Falfurrias for hogs, I was lucky enough to see a group of Javs come in and this was one nice boar for Fal. I cooked his backstraps sliced thin and fried, with fried taters and onions and a good Ranchero sauce and handmade flour tortillas and it was awesome! My clients didn't beleive the tacos were Javelina. The hind quarter I cooked with sauercraut and taters, and it was awesome too. Better than wild boar actually.

While hunting turkey, I had some curious deer come in last weekend. Pretty isn't she?

FINALLY! Butch took a boar this weekend after hunting all day in the Sejita area of South Texas. Now, maybe he'll let me keep this lease.

The first 5 minutes of the weekend, I took this nice Javelina/Collared Peccary boar down. I shot, and he ran to me 14 yards and expired. Caught it all on camera too! Great way to start the weekend.

Here's anpother hog down. The video was exciting. He came in a few hours after dark, and when the arrow hit him, he got very angry and growled and screamed, but didn't go anywhere-until I went to retrieve him! Going in the thick thorns in the dark after a boar is always an adventure. Hog huntin' after dark is the best rush of all!
