The Association of Collegiate Anglers has selected Allen, TX as the host city for the 2012 Cabela's Collegiate Big Bass Bash. Hundreds of students from across the country will migrate to the city of Allen, and nearby Lake Lavon, March 19-24, 2012 for what should be a fun-filled start to the 2012 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series.

Over 75 million homes will be able to able watch this year's Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) when the world championship of bass fishing airs on Versus, which is part of the NBC Sports Group. The TTBC, an annual three-day bass fishing world championship and outdoor music festival will take place in Conroe Oct. 28-30.

The Toyota Texas Bass Classic, is quickly approaching. Fan favorite Mike Iaconelli and the 2010 runner up will be back again this year to try to take the title that evaded him previously.
