Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced today that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will distribute more than $862 million to all 50 states, U.S. commonwealths and territories, and the District of Columbia to support hunting, sport-fishing, and fish and wildlife conservation and education programs.

The FLW Bass Fishing League is headed to Sam Rayburn Reservoir March 6 for the second of five stops in the Cowboy Division series. As many as 400 pro and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $8,000 and $3,000, respectively.

Pro Cody Woods of Jacksonville, Texas, caught three bass weighing 5 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the FLW American Fishing Series Texas Division tournament on Sam Rayburn Reservoir with a three-day total of 13 bass weighing 32 pounds, 10 ounces. For his victory, Woods earned $24,680.

National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to Cross Lake Feb. 13 for the third of four stops in the Texas Division series. Forty collegiate teams will be competing for a top award of $10,000 to be split evenly between the school and bass fishing club.

The FLW American Fishing Series is headed to Sam Rayburn Reservoir Feb. 4-6 for the second of three stops in the Texas Division series. As many as 300 pro and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $25,000 plus a Ranger boat and engine and up to $15,000, respectively.
