Search Results:Ducks Unlimited Receives Seven NAWCA Grants to Conserve Wetlands and GrasslandsSummary: WASHINGTON - Ducks Unlimited and its partners were recently awarded seven North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) grants to conserve nearly 40,000 acres of habitat. The grants cover projects in nine states. Approximately $16.7 million in matching funds from project partners and more than $6.4 million in NAWCA grant funds will restore, protect and enhance wetlands critical to waterfowl.

Waterfowl Migration Map Now Available at ducks.orgLocal Sportsman's Lodge Helps DU Restore Wetland Habitat at Guadalupe Delta WMASummary: RICHMOND, Texas - Partners recently celebrated the completion of a 55-acre freshwater wetland at Guadalupe Delta Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Habitat work was completed in large part due to a generous donation by Midland, Texas DU volunteers Jack and Joe Campbell, owners of the Lone Star Lodge in Port O’Connor, Texas. Donated funds were used to install a low levee and one water control structure for area staff to manage water levels for the production of high quality waterfowl foods.
