Eight Point Ranch offers some of the finest hunting in central Texas.  We are unlike most central texas hunting and breeding ranches in that we have over 2500 animals available at any point in time making it easy to meet your hunt and ranch stocking needs. 
 
We have some of the finest lodging available for hunters and photo enthusiasts alike.  We offer 3 meals a day for our guest --- no one ever leaves hungry. 
 
From April until October we have some of the best fishing "I mean catching" in Elgin Texas.  Fish varieties include bass, catfish (up to 20 lbs on one lake and 40 lbs on another), and perch.
 
We will have an on-site taxidermist available to take care of your needs and can ship them to you if needed.

Big Rack Ranch has a Level 3 MLD Permit through Texas Parks & Wildlife.  Our hunting season begins the first weekend in October and runs through the last weekend in February.  We offer a limited number of hunts each year.  All hunts include lodging, meals and a professional guide.  We offer management hunts for bucks ranging from 130"-150" B&C, as well as trophy hunts for bucks scoring 150"-220" B&C.  We are set up to accommodate both rifle and archery hunts at the Big Rack. 

Guests at the Big Rack stay in their own private cabin on the property.  All meals are included in the price of the hunt.  Each hunter will be accompanied by a professional guide while in a stand

All other species including Axis deer, Fallow bucks, Black buck antelope, Russian boars, and wild hogs can be hunted year round.

You will find a warm comfortable bed and all the amenities of home including a washer and dryer. We have a two bedroom cabin with a full bath and full kitchen, and a single bedroom cabin with a full bath, microwave and mini-fridge. Both cabins are equipped with satellite television and telephone to call home and tell the story of your successful hunting experience. Internet connections are also available at the main house.

We have a large cleaning area for your harvest and a comfortable seating area to visit while we carefully process your animal for transport.
