We are a 2100 acre high fenced ranch in Kimble County just North of Junction, Texas on Hwy 83 in the Texas Hill Country.

We have continued to improve the genetics and the overall quality of our deer by introducing Northern and South Texas genetics. Our intensive management and feeding program is producing antlers of excellent tine length and mass.

We offer family, corporate and  individual hunting and are working to better accommodate  handicap hunters. We have an on site rifle range and we can provide you with a rifle if needed.

Here’s what UMGS will provide for a year round or seasonal lease:

20 to 25+ Bucks 120 B&C to 180 B&C using MLD Permits.
Does: (amount taken at owner’s recommendation, usually one doe per buck harvested) (Bow or Rife)

Unlimited Hogs: All you can shoot at anytime (Bow or Rifle)

5 Blackbucks: (Bow or Rife)

10 Turkeys: (spring only) (Bow or Rifle)

6 Bedroom 5 Bath Lodge. (Sleeps 10 comfortably) The Lodge can be used for meeting, parties and etc.) Lodge is completely furnished with all the linens, towels, gas barbeque, pots and pans. We provide all utilities, electricity, gas, water, etc.

In addition to the Lodge, we have a remodeled older ranch house that sleeps 8 with A/C, heat, Dish Network. This house can be used for overflow if needed.

Cleaning service for the lodge and grounds.

Game cleaning barn with walk-in cooler & freezer.

Outdoor fire pit. (We’ll provide the firewood.)

We provide all feed (protein and corn) and keep all feeders filled. 13 corn feeders to be hunted

13 new hunting blinds. Each blind holds 2 people comfortably.

Blue Mountain Outfitter is located in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country in Kimble County, and right in the middle of the best Whitetail Deer hunting in the state. Consisting of five different ranches , the properties are high fenced and have been under strict game management for the last 6 years. Blue Mountain Outfitter is proud to present our huge, protein fed, South Texas Bucks. 2005 is the first year open to Deer Hunting, and we are currently booking hunts for the 2006-2007 season.

At this time we are booking Trophy and Management hunts. We guarantee a shot at a 10 point or better Buck. The hunts are for 1-3 days with food and comfortable lodging at the Ranch. We are also booking Spring Turkey hunts for 2007, and these birds have not been hunted in 6 years. Also, we are permitted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to Rifle Hunt from October 1 till Feb 28 of each season through our Managed Lands Deer permit(MLD permits). This means you will not have to use a tag off your Texas Hunting License as we have the MLD tags here. This gives you great flexibility in Hunting dates.

In addition Blue Mountain Outfitter also offers exotic hunts at very reasonable prices. We can guarantee a shot at several different species including watusi, buffalo, aoudad, black buck, addax, oryx, zebra, elk, red deer, nilgai, watterbuck, eland, fallow, axis, sika deer,ibex, and several other species.
