Lee Guide Service

Lee Guide Service
Summary:

I offer exciting year-round saltwater fishing adventures in the Galveston Bay Complex!

You can take a half or full day trip for Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder.  Typically we fish out of the boat over shell, or other bottom structure with a variety of artificial baits. Certain times of the year we work birds chasing pods of shrimp and shad for fast and furious action.  Wade-fishing for Trophy Trout and Redfish is also available upon request.  You won’t have to ask us more than once to wade-fish!

In March, April, September, and October, we offer Bull Redfish trips at the Jetties. These trips are great for families and kids!  These are catch and release trips for BIG fish.

From June through September, you can take a full or half day on the beachfront for Sharks and Tarpon.  We catch Blacktip, Spinner, Bull and the occasional Hammerhead sharks. These fish can be 3 to 8 feet in length, and weigh 200+lbs.  You may also catch Tarpon, Bull Redfish, Jack Fish, and Kingfish.  Our goal is to let you fight as many big fish as possible.  These trips are great for couples, families, and corporate entertainment because it is fast action and all you do is FIGHT FISH!  These trips are also catch and release.

Whether you are looking for a trophy of a lifetime, or a relaxing day on the water, you can be certain that I will do everything that I can to ensure your trip is as memorable as possible.

Offering fully guided Dove and Waterfowl hunts on privately owned and managed habitat.  We start in September with Dove and Teal hunting.  You can even make a long day with an afternoon bay fishing trip!  Duck and goose hunts are available November - January.  I offer coastal marsh and prairie hunting from conventional or pit blinds where we shoot a mix of ducks including Teal, Gadwall, Wigeon, Pintail, Mallard. Mottled, Shoveler, and divers.  Most of these hunts offer a decent opportunity for geese as well.  All of this is done within an hour of Houston.

I also offer Timber Mallard hunts near College Station, Texas.  These hunts are done on a beautiful piece of property that is specifically managed for waterfowl.  You can stand in the timber, or hunt from one of my comfortable, dry blinds.  These hunts offer "In your Face" action for Mallards, Wood Ducks, Gadwall, Teal, and Wigeon.

All of these hunts are full service with NO WALKING....Just show up, get down, and shoot!  A minimum of four people is required for most hunts.  Bay fishing, Alligator hunting, and limited Deer and Hog hunting is also available.  Special rates for youth under 16 years old.

Texas Offshore Adventures

We provide the most courteous and knowledgeable Captains, the fastest boats, the most accessible and luxurious lodging, and a guarantee that you will be satisfied.  We understand that if you are satisfied with our service, you will return, and you will bring others with you.

Blue Water Options
Texas Offshore Adventures, LLC. offers several options when it comes to blue water fishing. We will be happy to help you make the best possible decision about which trip will yield the best possible results during a certain time frame.  Our goal is to provide the best and most successful trip for you, our Guest.

Full Day Blue Water Trips
Due to our close proximity to deep water, Freeport is one of the few places on the upper Texas Coast you have a chance to catch Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Cobia, Amberjack and even Billfish all in the same day. We run our blue water day trips everyday of the year and achieve great success on them, frequently filling fish boxes before the day is up. Our primary methods of fishing on these trips change seasonally and consist of live bait fishing, chunking, casting top water plugs and trolling.

Overnight Tuna Trips
We generally leave the dock in the mid afternoon and return late the following morning. We normally are heading out to the big Spar and Floating rigs 100+ miles offshore.  We spend the entire night fishing for tuna, not something for the faint of heart.  While tuna is our primary query we’ll also catch Amberjack, Wahoo, Kingfish, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, and Ling.  Our primary methods of fishing are live baiting, chunking, casting top water plugs and Jigging.

Offshore Options

Bottom Fishing
Once again, due to Freeport’s proximity to deep water, we enjoy some
spectacular bottom fishing. We routinely fish for trophy Red snapper, Mangrove snapper, big Grouper, Amberjack and Ling. We usually pick up other assorted species along the way as well. We leave the dock at safe light and return in the mid to late afternoon

Near Shore Options

Bull Redfish, Shark and Tarpon Trips
The Jetties and Beachfront of Freeport hold Red fish of Epic proportions. We regularly see days where we catch double digit numbers of redfish over 35 pounds. These fish provide a huge challenge on light tackle. The best part is that these fish are here year round. We do choose to release most of the bull reds and hope that you choose to do so as well. We are looking forward to a
dynamic fishery for many years to come.

Traditional Inshore Trips
Freeport Offshore Adventures works very closely with several of the most talented inshore Captains in the area and would be happy to set up a day of inshore fishing for you. We will only book you with talented and courteous Captains. You will fish out of a 22-24 foot bay boat and be furnished with high quality tackle. The boats fish up to four anglers and several boats are available.   The trips leave at first light and return 4-6 hours later. You can expect to catch Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder.
