We would like to welcome you to some of the best fishing in Texas.  We specialize in trophy striped and hybrid bass fishing.  We are stricly "catch and release" on our stripers and hybrids.  The current striped bass lake record in 18.56 pounds and the current hybrid bass lake record to 13.19 pounds.  If you catch a striper or hybrid which appears to outweigh these records, the fish will be kept for an official weigh-in.

We also fish for white bass (aka sand bass).  Limits of white bass can be kept by the customer.  We do not offer a cleaning service.

About the Captain
I have been an active boater and sportsman since my youth.  Although I love all things outdoors, my passion has always been fishing.  I have owned and operated charter boats for over 15 years on both inland and coastal waters. 

Tim is a full time licensed and insured professional fishing guide on Lake Ray Roberts. He has been fishing all his life and for the last 35 years has been a serious bass fisherman. Having fished Lake Ray Roberts exclusively, since it opened to motor boats in 1990, he knows the lake. Prior to fishing on Lake Ray Roberts, Tim lived in East Texas spending a lot of time on Lake Palestine, Lake Athens, Cedar Creek Lake, and Lake Tyler.  Fishing for largemeouth bass in the warmer months, and white bass all year round, Tim has always had an obsession with deep water structure fishing. Having spent countless hours on Lake Ray Roberts studying maps and searching the depths with electronics, he knows the  the main lake structure on Lake Ray Roberts like the back of his hand.  Using triangulation, he is as comfortable fishing spots in the middle of the lake as most fishermen are fishing stumps in the back of a creek.

Your Lake Ray Roberts guide trip with Tim will be as instructional as you want it to be. You can learn a lot in one trip about electronics, GPS's and triangulation if you have the desire to. Before opening Reelin Ray Roberts Guide Service, Tim was in the grocery business. Knowing the value of good customer service, he will work hard to make your fishing trip one you will remember and leave wanting to book another trip in the future. The father of four daughters and grandfather of seven he enjoys teaching beginners how to catch fish introducing them to this great sport of ours. What to bring:
A Texoma fishing license ($12 at any tackle outlet).
Ice chest, snacks, sandwiches, drinks.
Wet weather clothing (when necessary).
Warm clothing for colder weather and life preservers for small children.
Beer is permitted but any sign of abuse will cause the day to be ended immediately.

Trips:
We will fish twice a day during daylight savings time
and once a day during standard time.
Morning trips will begin at daylight at our dock at Little Mineral Marina.
Afternoon trips will begin a 3 pm.
Trips will last 6 to 8 hours or until a limit is caught.
Daily Limits: 10 fish per person only 2 can be over 20" per person.

We are a family owned full time guide service with licensed, experienced and professional guides. We provide a complete fishing service with a guaranteed catch from May through December.

In 1988, Lindy began guiding on Lake Ray Roberts in an 18-ft. canoe (that was before motors were allowed on the lake). This full-time guide works strictly on Lake Ray Roberts and he has the distinction of guiding there since Roberts was impounded.

I love to fish and have spent many years learning the habits of the fish on Fayette County Lake.  I am a full-time guide and fish exclusively on this lake.  Being a resident of Fayetteville, I am on the water several times a week - with or without clients. This allows me to keep up with fish movement and their many different patterns. Most bass boated are good solid fish; however, many trips have produced the biggest "large-mouth bass" clients have ever caught.  "Fishing" is my only business and yes, it is my passion. R. My name is John Varner. I am a licensed fishing guide, specializing in Sand Bass, Hybrids and Stripers, on DFW area lakes in Texas.

My trips are informal and one on one. We will not just catch fish but also LEARN HOW TO CATCH FISH. I have a 19.6' Sea Pro center console with up to date color fishfinders and GPS. I use many methods of fishing: ARTIFICIAL, TROLLING, AND DOWNRIGGING. Just let me know what methods you want to learn. I mostly fish for sand bass, but there is a very good chance of catching some nice hybrids and stripers.

Billy Seaman has been guiding on Cedar Creek for 8 years. He specializes in half and full day trips for white bass, hybrid striper and crappie. He also offers night trips (4 hours) during the spring and fall for whites and hybrids. Billy’s knowledge of Cedar Creek will make your trip a learning experience and enjoyable - for adults and children alike! His goal is to increase your fishing ability, catch fish and do it all while
riding in comfort in a 22’ Skeeter Bay Boat.

Cedar Creek is teaming with fish. Limits of white bass are almost a given during the summer months. As the thermocline sets in the fish will stage shallower making it easier to find and catch them. The plentiful hybrid striper in this lake average 6 pounds with fish over 10 not that uncommon. The lake record is 13.15 pounds. The best time for hybrid fishing is April-May and then again during the month of November. It is also a great crappie lake. It is not uncommon to catch your limit of crappie without any under 10 inches. Most weigh over a pound with 2 pounders not that uncommon.

It is an easy lake to fish. Wind can be a deterrence but there are spots you can find that are out of the wind. Weekends do get crowded but weekdays are basically you and the fish.
