Allen Christenson is a life-long resident of Austin. After graduating from Lanier High School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas. Allen's service in the airforce included a tour in Viet Nam. Allen and his wife, Benita, live in Austin.

Allen has been fishing successfully on Lake Travis for over 30 years and is well qualified to serve as the most knowledgeable fishing guide on Lake Travis. Allen's prime concern is that his clients catch fish and have an enjoyable learning experience. Since 1979 Allen has also provided his clients with successful trophy bass excursions to Fayette County and Calaveras Lakes.

Lake Travis is full of fish! The black bass fishing on Lake Travis is exceptional year-round. Knowing where and how to fish is essential and Allen Christenson will share his expertise with you. Fishing for stripers, white bass, crappie and catfish can also be very good on a seasonal basis. Allen's fishing experience will ensure your fishing success.

Reeves started fishing Lake Travis in 1985 and after several action packed trips, he set a goal to start a fishing guide service. He followed his dream and formed Scales Guide Service. Reeves guides exclusively on Lake Travis and is truly devoted to the fishery. He is a versatile angler and a structure fishing expert.

Reeves is friendly and easy to talk to. He enjoys visiting with clients by phone to find out what they wish to accomplish on the lake. As a guide, Reeves works hard at providing his clients a safe, fun, and memorable experience on the water.

Git Bit Guide Service provides everything you need. You'll be comfortable while fishing in style in a current year model "Z Series" Ranger bass boat powered by an Evinnide E-Tec outboard motor. State of-the-art GPS & fish-finding electronics combined with a Minn Kota trolling motor aid in locating and catching fish. Waterloo Custom Rods teamed with top quality bait casting and spinning reels provide superior feel and fish-fighting performance.

TRIP OPTIONS

Git Bit Guide Service offers full day and half-day trips year round for individuals or groups of any size. Additional local guides are available to accommodate group outings. Service is provided on the best bass lakes in central Texas including Lakes Travis, Bastrop, Fayette County *, and Lake Austin.
