The Circle E Ranch is a full-service hunting and fishing destination offering its services and facilities year-round. Over twenty species of African, European and native big game animals thrive on 3200 acres of prime habitat right here in the piney woods of east Texas, just one hour north of Houston.

We have had years of quality habitat management experience and that experience provides the serious trophy hunter the opportunity to hunt the elusive whitetail buck. The objective of this intense management program is to give the hunter a chance to harvest bucks of at least five years of age and scoring as high as 160 B&C. Our hunters typically see 25-30 of these bucks during a 3 day hunt.

Depending upon your target, hunting methods include safari style, spot and stalk or hunting from blinds.

The Circle E Lodge accommodates 10 guest in style, offering the amenities of a luxury hotel and all the comforts of home. Surrounded by tranquil forests, the lodge is private, quiet and serene.

Through careful land management, Double R Hunting Club enjoys some of the best teal, duck, goose and crane hunting in South Texas.  The properties range from rice stubble and winter crops, such as wheat and beans, to flooded flats and plowed ground.  The club has also creates generous duck ponds and private waterfowl roosts to further ensure outstanding hunting.

The club has secured many pieces of property for hunting privileges, from the Katy Prairie to the duck capital, known as Garwood, as well as some of the best goose hunting locations in El Campo, through Matagorda and down to lush fresh water marshland near the coast.

The entire family enjoys waterfowl hunting, so a few years ago we decided to start a hunting club that provided the enjoyment of waterfowl hunting with an unequaled commitment to field safety. We believe that this club has done that and much more.  Our desire is to give this club’s members and guided customers the most enjoyable and safest hunting experience available.    

We all believe in giving back to the community and this hunting club has enabled us to make numerous contributions to make a difference.  We support our local Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl Chapters by donating hunts for auction as well as purchasing tables to help raise money.  To further help our community, we either donate money, hunts or both for worthy causes.  Most recently Double R Hunting Club was voted:

The Babin Ranch is situated on 435 heavily wooded acres in Center Texas, with protein feeders, corn feeders and a rolling stream throughout the property.
We offer trophy class whitetail deer and elk, along with a wide variety of exotic animals. The landscape of the ranch consists of rolling hills, large oak and pine trees, food plots, pastures, two separate streams that flow into each other, swamps, and dense forests.

This will be the fourth year of operation for the Babin Ranch. There have been many improvements made from the previous owner. We have enhanced the bloodline of the whitetail deer population by introducing ten bucks from 300+ class genetics. To aid in the development of antler growth as well, five new protein feeders have been placed on the land. Furthermore, there are numerous food plots that will be planted throughout the property.

Here at Babin Ranch we accommodate all types of hunting, from tree stands, to box stands, to ground blinds, as well as stalking. The guide's duties will include taking you to and from your blind, assisting you in selecting which animal to harvest, recovering the animal, field dressing, and storing the game in a walk-in cooler.

The lodge is a beautiful three bedroom, two and a half bath structure that was made from the actual timber on the land. It also contains an additional bunkhouse and a game room with the ability to sleep ten hunters overall.

From the beginning of September with dove, teal, and alligator, to the middle of February still shooting mallards and pheasants, and continuing with fishing from March through September, Broken L Outdoors thrives on giving you a safe and memorable hunting or fishing trip to last a lifetime.

Dove hunts will take place in sunflower and millet fields. Check with us for opening north and south zone specials for an all day affair with a limited availability for these days. Alligator hunts will be by boat and some with the use of an ATV.

Teal and migratory hunts will be over flooded flats and rice fields. Dry blinds and decoys that are already in the field help make the hunt more enjoyable. Transportation to and from the blind will be provided.

On the hunting preserve, flighted mallard hunts will be from concrete blinds with cushion seats and shelves for your supplies. The blind also has three dog runs for multiple dog training. The shooting will be up close and in the decoys for your shooting pleasure. Bird cleaning is included for your six bird limit, and additional birds and cleaning are available for the entire party.

For over 30 years the Oyster Bayou Lodge has provided excellent duck and goose hunting with first class accomodations.

Located on the legendary Barrow Ranch, and directly in the center of the vast 40,000 acre Anahuac Wildlife Refuge system, the club is one of the few remaining privately owned and managed hunting marshes on the Texas coast. All hunting areas in the club's possession are managed exclusively for the highest quality waterfowl habitat possible. 

The individual hunting areas are accesible by boat or 4-wheeler and the blinds are all-weather pits with large decoy spreads.  Our primary objective is duck hunting with occassional opportunities for geese.

The lodging complex consists of a 3500 sq. ft facility with sleeping quarters for groups up to 24.  Meals are excellent and "southern-style".

Along with the world class waterfowling, Oyster Bayou Lodge provides salt-water fishing in the Galveston Bay system, alligator hunting, conference facilities, and sporting clay events.

The Oyster Bayou Lodge is available year-round for outdoor entertainment, conferences and sporting clay events for groups of up to 24.

Lodge Creek Whitetails will base the price of your management or trophy hunt on the “Gross Boone and Crockett” (“GBC)” scoring system. We will give the buck credit for every inch of antler he has produced on his head. As a hunter, you are encouraged to participate in the scoring of your deer, but the final score will be determined by the Ranch Manager or his designee.

There are deer of all trophy ranges at Lodge Creek Whitetails. For some, these are the deer that set young hunters on a lifetime of appreciation of God’s outdoors. This wildlife experience can be a solidifying experience of setting a young person on a path of establishing life’s value systems.
