Buckdaddy's Lofty Pines Hunt Club
Summary:
Pineywoods lease. Lots of creekbeds, Heavily wooded. Good logging roads. Family oriented. Kids welcome. No guest fee. ATV's welcome. Open 365 days/year. Deer, hog, turkey, small game, varmints etc. Call Ronnie at 214-876-3909 or email rhathcoat33@yahoo.com. Just to be upfront, there is come clearcut on the 428 a while ago. It's not bad. My personal opinion is that it created more natural funnels the deer/hogs etc will have to move through. There's still plenty of woods as well. I'm on a 556 tract of land that had about 200 acres clear cut and what I found out this past season is the natural funnels helped us actually see more game than we did in the past. The 428's already been replanted and a lot of the pines are growing quite well. This makes it even better. By Nov. the new pines will be high enough for the deer to feel comfortable traveling through them. I've had great success in this type of situation using my climber or a 14-16' ladder stand looking down into the tree's.
