West Zone Goose Outfitters said they took limits of Canadas and a few snow geese to boot over corn and wheat during the last weekend of goose season. Outfitters said they were surprised at how well geese cooperated this season, despite drought conditions. The regular goose season ended Feb. 5. The Light Goose Conservation Order began Feb. 6 and few hunters took advantage of the liberal rules. Hunter participation this goose season was down overall, according to several sources.
