I am looking for a lease in the Lissie Eagle lake area for two hunters. Due to back problems I need to find an area that is easily accessible. Any suggestions for season or unguided day leases would be appreciated. Bob

Waterfowl Hunting on Texas Lakes

Does anyone know the regulations or rules to hunting on a lake in Texas Can you just go scout out an area on a lake and hunt Are there restrictions to what and where you may hunt I have tried to find info on this but all I get is TPWD Public land hunts. I live near a very wooded lake in North Texas and was wanting to begin hunting on it. I was just wanting some information. Thanks for any help.

Panhandle Duck Hunting

http www.swf wc.usace.army.mil cgi bin rcshtml.pl page Recreation . That is the website for all of the lakes that are managed by the Army Corps of Engineers in Texas. Most of them allow hunting and you do not even have to register. Others may have you bring your credentials to the office in order to get a free permit, but all of that information is on the site. All other lakes in Texas will be managed by the Texas Parks an Wildlife and you can find that information at their website. There is also a lake Truscott in the Panhandle that I hear can hold some ducks but have never been. I know a few guides in the area, If you are looking for a guide service you can e mail me. Good luck to you out there
