I quit working at Eight Point Ranch in November as a personal chef after I discovered the owner, Bobby Girling, was stealing my tip money. If you have ever working in the hunting industry you know that tips are what we make our living off of. I worked hard for this ranch. Most days I was there at 5am and didnt leave until 9pm. I received a very low hourly wage and got no overtime even though I worked 14 16 hour days. My tips were my livelyhood. I had suspected I as being stolen from when I started seeing the big gap in tip amounts from when hunters tipped with cash directly to me versus it going through the office in check or credit card form. The amounts were hundreds of dollars apart.
