      <description>Well we had a little bit better hunt this afternoon evening hunting over a harvested corn field, we got a few but most of the dove were flying too high , saw a group of 20 birds fly over us 100 yrds over the field    Had a Great Sunset too   Thanks to Aaron  Papi  for the free pass to his 40 acre field We saw lots of hog tracks out there also</description>

      <description>We had fantastic weather 53F 75F this weekend near Olney with large groups of Dove on Friday afternoon , but not enough hunters .  The winds kicked up Friday nite and probablly moved the migratoriy s out , then Saturday morning was fair at best . with a few taken .  Saturday afternoon was a little better and I was fortunate to hunt with Brent  Topwater_Elvis  and his German Shorthair dog Bell , it was my first time hunting with a bird dog   and it was Awesome    Thanks Bell   Brent for a great time    Hunting with Good Folks , along with great Sunrises   Sunsets   Dove Hunt Fun</description>

      <description>North Zone Dove  The High Plains are wet from recent rains. An abundance of water in playa lakes has doves scattered around watering sources. Corn, milo and sunflowers continue to produce near Amarillo and Dumas. Abilene and Lubbock hunters have seen the same results. Red River hunters continue to be plagued by rain showers and muddy fields. The region received another three inches over the weekend. This week s mild forecast should do nothing to prompt new migrants to head to Texas, however, the bright moon might. The season runs through Oct. 25. Prospects are fair to good.   Central Zone Dove  Showers across Central Texas hurt the dove flight over the weekend. Rains moved across the state from the west and brought much needed rain to San Antonio and Austin. Whitewings continue to find corn and milo fields in and around San Antonio. Much of the rain has moved birds to the high ground and gravel roads.
