Hi, my name is Brian Cluff and I stumbled across this site the other day. I raise and train German Shorthairs and English Pointers as a hobby. I am not a dog breeder. I have however gone to great lengths to find dogs with the right bloodlines and qualities from across the nation. The qualities that I think are important for a dog to have naturally and be able to develop are bidability, an awesome nose, style, stamina, and a willingness to retrieve. Occasionally I will have finished dogs for sale as I bring in new pups and try out different bloodlines. Duke I bought Duke as a puppy and he was the pick of the litter. He has turned out to be a very stylish and classy gundog. He is a Honky Tonk Attitude grandson and has a strong influence of Elhew Strike on his dams side. He is a natural retriever with a soft mouth and has a cannon for a nose He also has some of the HTA style and head crank Duke has been hunted for two seasons on Gambles, Scaled, and Mearns quail. He h...

Cats near lake Livingston

I m not sure what is happening on my little piece of Texas but we ve had some odd things happen lately and I wanted to know if anyone else from our area had anything like this. We re located on the south side of Lake Livingston. Our property goes from pretty much the highest point around down all the way to the river below the dam and we have a pond as well as a decent spring that somehow still has water. We ve had game cameras on the land for the past few years and seen things start to change. I ve seen all kinds of animals on our camera but here lately we ve seen a rise in Cat activity. I have a few very clear photos of regular bobcats but then there are a couple blurry pics of what appears to be a massive bobcat. It has stripes on it s legs and spots all over with the standard bobcat shaped head but it is nearly twice the size of the majority of the cats we have on camera. It really is neat to see how much action we get on camera but my father had a close call not long ago...
