question for river flow report

I used to be able to just look in the paper and see the river flow report on the Rio Grande from Precideo to the Big Bend Park area. This may not be much for most folks, but if you are going fishing in that area it is nice to know how much the river is up or down. Usually there is great fishing for catfish, however on a couple of occasions we went only to discover that the river was on a 20ft plus rise. We go on this trip once or twice a year and the trip for 5 7 days will cost us at least 1,000.00. We travel from Dallas area, so it makes for a long trip. Just wondered if anyone could tell me who to call or where to look. I have called Big Bend Park headquarters and was told that they do not maintain that info anymore.

hunting around Austin, TX

I m about to move from Tennessee to Austin, TX. I am looking for information about hunting and fishing around Austin. I love to hunt anything that s legal, especially ducks, geese, deer, and turkeys. I m also a big bass fisherman, but I never turn down a chance at some catfish or crappie. If anyone knows of some public spots around Austin, or if anyone hunts or fishes around there and is looking for a new hunting buddy, email me. Thanks.
