My dad and I went hunting one Saturday morning. It was about eight in the morning when a nice eight pointer comes out from a dry bed. My dad said to get ready cause he was goint to try and call him in. After a few grunts the buck comes out about thirty yards. I come to a full draw and out goes my arrow. Boom my arrow hits a limb on a tree. The nice buck was never to be seen again. I look at my dad and he smiles and says, thats bowhunting buddy. Well after a short meal we head back out to our ground blind. It was about two o clock.
Just thought I would share the biggest deer I have ever shot. Not to mention with my bow. My son was not sure what to think of the ole buck. I think my taxidermist did a very good job especially for 50.00. By the way, if you can tell the color of the horns, they are not dyed. Everyone who has seen the deer ask if they were.
