BigFoot Gear Bag Review
BigFoot Bags are awesome. I don’t know the people behind BigFoot at all, but I do know they have a simple, great product that does what they say – period. If you read no further, at least visit www.BigFootBag.com to learn more. The hunting and fishing industry, like any other industry, has its share of snake oil salesman and carpet baggers. And, like any other industry, it has stalwart companies and characters that represent all that is good about America. On both sides of the equation there are fly-by-night operations that offer to do reviews for free hunting gear; and just as many new product innovators that want to get free positive press regardless if it is just a cookie cutter junk review. We answer to our members who use our site and have come to expect us to put a product to the test in the field - push it hard - and then tell both the good and the bad about our experience. Dan Kamrath sent us a small camo, a medium cargo, and a large gear bag to use in the field. They have been in the back of our vehicles since. Here in Texas, beyond the ethics of hunting, we also have laws that enforce the proper care and handling of harvested game animals. The Bigfoot Bag has been perfect to transport a deer from the killing field to the ranch house down a long and dusty road; and even transport a field dressed deer from the ranch to the meat processor with bags of ice packed in the body cavity. On a sadder note, when my sister’s Great Dane of 11 years was found unable to walk, we used a BigFoot Bag to carry it to the vet where it was put to sleep. Whether transporting two girl’s soccer gear; little league coaching equipment; and countless other examples, the BigFoot Bag has been one of those items that you feel compelled to tell others about. Last fall I killed my first whitetail buck during archery season. In this case, not only did I use the BigFoot Bag to transport the animal to the cleaning station, but since I was in a remote location, I used the BigFoot Bag as a “sled” to drag the animal several hundred yards to vehicle access. Dragging a large animal across the rocky and prickly Texas Hill Country did not create one tear in the BigFoot Bag, further validation of their heavy duty construction and materials. *Please note this is not the intended use of the product and violates the warranty :-) One of the most unique aspects of the BigFoot Bag is that it is unzips completely flat to where it can be used as a ground cloth, or a tarp, or just a work surface in the field – and then – zip back to be a super-heavy-duty cargo bag. This would explain their marketing slogan, “The only bag that works when it is empty.” WATCH A SHORT BIGFOOT GEAR BAG DEMONSTRATION VIDEO BELOW

The last part of our BigFoot Gear Bag Review is a series of photos we took of the bag in action. From the heavy duty zipper construction, to the oversized carrying handles, not including the obedient german shepard, we tried to capture a taste of our BigFoot Bag in the field.
