Dennis Dunn is one of 3 hunters who has harvested all 20 North American Big Game with a recurve and has had many records in the Pope & Young Record Books. We recently received the following email from him:

"Thanks so much for the continued coverage on your excellent website!  Strictly for accuracy's sake, you need to know that at present there are 13 others — besides me — who have completed the North American Super Slam with a bow.  

There are two others who have taken the P & Y 28 with a recurve (therefore, barebow! also) SINCE I finished my 29 (includes Tule Elk) in September of 2004.  My Super Slam was the seventh by an archer, but first ever done barebow —hence the title of my book.

The final editing and layout took longer than we anticipated, but the publisher finally shipped the whole magnum opus off to the printer one week ago today (on July 14, 2008)!  Should have copies to ship by mid-to-late September (2008).  Book will be 504 pages and weigh in at between 8 and 9 pounds.  Worth waiting for, I guarantee you!
