i think you are right on both counts....he has some good genes but has been stresed and broken off...young deer????...4.5  did he have protien??

Yes, there is a year-round feeding program including protein supplementation in the form of pellets, random protein blocks all over the property, and one year-round food plot. Property also contains some of the only natural water in the area (Monahans draw). Seems like every buck on the property gets broken up at some point during the year.
