Had a good Thanksgiving week. Took my wife huntn last week and had a great hunt. The first half of the week was very slow but hunting can change very quickly. 5 days of nothing good then a day and half later three animals down. Took the 23 inch 9 point Mule Deer first Friday Morning around 9am. He had exactly 5 inch bases and weighed 250lbs on our scales. This buck is basically a cull Mule Deer he was old and just a 4X4 frame. Saturday morn the 145 inch 10 point Whitetail. His left base was 6 inches and the right 4.5. This was an old deer and weighed 220lbs. Sat evening I took the 27 inch Aoudad at about 400 yards and had to pack him out about 2 miles on my back, not fun. He almost went off a cliff when I took him. This was my first Aoudad. All animals free range and self guided. I was also able to put my wife on her first Tusker.
