We dont have many big bucks here in Houston County. However we do put meat in the freezer.
Its nice to see someone in East Texas has pictures of deer on their trail cams during the DAY so far. Man, were in Walker county and those Acorns dropped over the last 2 weeks or so, theyre not even coming to my feeders! neither are the HOGS! I cant believe it. I shot at a doe last weekend with my bow but my arrow hit a branch I didnt see right in front of the deer. I just hope things turn around before gun season, im like 1 for 9 just seeing deer this year!
We were ate up with hogs last year thats all i had on my camera. I couldnt belive when i swapped cards and looked at this one and all it had was deer on there. I dont know where they went but sure hope they stay there.
same prob happened to me, the acorns started fallin and the deer AND EVEN THE PIGS slowed down on the corn. im hoping that all the rain will make them sour. i hunt up near llano/mason area...try some of the acron rage deer attrachtant. its a powder you put straight on the ground. i watched many of my deer walk right past the feeder to start eating this stuff.
