Whats the point of what

I'm not saying that isn't cool but you have to be carefull and remember that this is the World Wide Web, and liberal tree hugger hippies can get ahold of photos like that and use them as tools against us hunters and sportsman. Its similar to young kids putting increminating photos of themselves on social networking sites and then when potential employeers see "last weekends party photos" then they may judge the character of that potential employee.

I could care less what some yankee that lives in a 10 by 10 box on top 300 other pepole thinks . Why should I change what I do to comply with what some idiot thinks is correct.  And my friend a dead jack rabbit is a far cry from a twelve yr old girl posting nude pics. SO YOU KISS THERE A$$ not me pal. 

Here we go, someone with no respect to the sport.  Another dumb hillbilly who thinks what he does is so cool it needs to be posted on this site thats for family and kids.  All your doing is setting a bad example, everybody knows what a JUNK AR-15 will do to a rabbit.  Go post this on some other website PAL and save this one from being harrassed by the tree huggers. You shouldnt change what you do, just have courtesy for others and stop being the reason they want to take our guns and our sport.  If you dont agree with me, ask yourself this...does this photo help or hurt our sport.  I think everyone knows the answer to that one PAL.

Bet you gotta 50 cal desert eagle for a pistol too. youre so cool. ill be sure and tell the anti gun guys to take the guns from the idiots from PA first, they started this stupid crap.

Bowhunter83,if you would read the names of the authors of the quotes you would see it's not my picture and I didn't agree with it.  And I guess you didn't see the sarcasm in the M-240-gulf belt fed machine gun vs a chipmunk.  Before you respond so strongly next time fully read what your responding to.  Hope we got that straightened out.

leatherneck, I owe you an apology,thats my fault about that.  I took it as you were the idiot who posted this photo being stupid.  Yeah haggard&jones im real scared of you and your AR 15 that you shoot wittle bitty bunny rabbits with.  I am not going to get into a pissing contest with a stupid hillbilly. pont blank.  Stand for what I believe in? what do you think im doing a$$hole? telling you your a piece of $hit for thinking its cool to post garbage like this on a website that people enjoy looking at photos of nature.  I am a tuff guy you can bet that, and its not on no keyboard.  I sure dont get a hard on for killing rabbits with a piece of junk gun and then posting the photos of guts hanging out so me and my 22 IQ buddies can giggle and high 5 at it while at work.  I just think its pathetic that they allow people like you on this site...that trash belongs elsewhere, atleast have some respect for the sport you participate in. everything is not about what the bullet does to the animal when it hits it.  I know im not the only one that feels that way. Did you eat that rabbit?  Then what did you do with it,  you are a joke for a hunter.

personally i'm not bother by the pic, would i post it.........i don't think so,  but that is just me.  what does bother me is the cussing. please, "GENTLEMEN" lets disagree but keep it clean.  just my 2 cents.  now get out and hunt!

Let me begin by saying that I am 54 yrs old, a wildlife biologist by training (gig'em aggies!) and started hunting with my grandfather when I was 7 years old.  As a hunter, I would have to say that the shot was very poorly placed, I always shoot rabbits in the head.  I have really never (since I grew up) found much pleasure in killing stuff that I had no interest in eating, and there are few folks I know who eat jackrabbits.  As  a working nature photographer, I see very little of merit in this photo.   The composition is boring, and the lighting is amateurish.  I checked out the other images posted by these yahoos, and see no merit in them either.  If this is the best this pair can do, they need to hang up the cameras, hang up the guns, and take up knitting.  

Seriously, photos like this hurt our sport, and damage the public image of all ethical hunters and should be removed from the site,
