I am new to this site and it seems that you guys have knowledge on the subject of deer.  I guided a young man on a doe hunt on some property were I hunt.  He shot a doe and I should have known better but she had two babies.  He was a young man that has drive to hunt so I allowed him to shoot a doe.

She had two babies and they were developed to the point that I could see that they were deer.  They would fit in the palm of your hand.  My question is how old do you guys think they were?  I hope y'all don't get mad but I just wanted to know.

Probably about 2 months. Just about every doe this late in the season is pregnant. This happens alot and most people do not notice them in the tiny sacks. No big deal it will happen if you take them late. Hope it helps.
