The plan for Show 20 was to start things off by talking about the amazing experience we had in old Mexico during the four days prior to the January 13th broadcast.  However as the intro music was playing I started reading an article from the outdoor news section of TexasHuntFish.com and became to flustered to think about anything other the horrific situation that was being described by the words on the studio monitor.  According to SCI the United States Fish and Wildlife Service is evaluating whether or not to list polar bears on the protected species list, despite historically high population numbers, because of the effects that the global climate change hoax might have on the polar bear population over the next 45 years.

The first time I said that the anti’s were going to use global warming (or what is now called global climate change because these nut jobs have no idea how our climate might change but this way they have all there basis covered) as a way to take away your hunting rights many of you thought I was making a bit of a stretch.   Do you still doubt me?  Here it is, in black and white.  Never mind the fact that there has been no significant change in the Earth’s temperature in the past century, never mind the fact that the hottest years on record were over 70 years ago, and certainly pay no mind to the fact that not only are polar bear numbers on the rise despite the fact that we continue to hunt them but because we continue to hunt them.  As long as people living in the regions where polar bear hunting takes place are making ends meat off of the revenue hunters bring in, the native inhabitants will continue to promote the preservation and expansion of polar bear populations.  Their lively hoods depend on it.  If hunting is not allowed then the polar bear is nothing but a pest and a danger to humans, in which case conservation efforts made by private citizens will stop.

The beauty of capitalism as it applies to this situation is something that the anti’s will never understand, because to them global climate change is nothing but a vehicle they can use to run over capitalism and force all you stupid red necks out there who love to hunt to live the way these spineless, panty wasted, socialists think you should.  Keep in mind, after they have taken your right to hunt they are coming for your guns.  As for me, I’ll be smiling from my recently acquired residence somewhere in Africa, Mexico, or anywhere else that hunting is still permitted.

Speaking of Mexico, we did get to discuss our trip to Vicente Pena’s ranch in Mexico, which was an amazing experience.  For those of you who are familiar with Vicente’s message (DON’T SHOOT YOUNG BIG BUCKS) you can rest assured that the man practices what he preaches.  The reason for the trip was to aid Jerry de Bin, Director of Marketing for Academy Outdoors, and Vicente Pena in the filming of a hunting show for Fox Sports.   When given the opportunity to interject a plug within the production, Vicente did not plug his hunting operation, either of his top selling DVDs, or his website (byvicentepena.com).  What Vicente plugged was his message.  This demonstration of conviction and dedication to his beliefs over himself is something I found to be personally inspiring and truly admirable.  Another source of inspiration from which I drew during the trip came in the form of one of the most impressive gentlemen I have ever met, Louis Etzel.  As a game specialist for Record Rack his knowledge of deer nutrition and wildlife management far surpassed my own.  However, what impressed me most about Big Louie was his willingness to teach a young buck, such as myself, as much about the ways of the world as possible during the short time we spent together.  Men like Louis Etzel, who truly have the heart of a teacher, can turn a hunting trip into a learning experience that lasts a life time.

After discussing our trip we visited with Karl Kinsel, executive director of the Texas Deer Association.  During this interview Karl revealed the organizations focus on perpetuating a code of ethics throughout the Texas deer breeding community as well as the TDA’s dedication to educating the public on proper deer breeding practices.  To learn more about the TDA visit TexasDeerAssociation.com.

Also I would like to thank our sponsors: Hewlett Hummer, Red's In-Door Range, and RAM Financial Group. Tune into the show next week and every week, Sunday at 10am on 1370am, or through the web at www.talk1370.com. To contribute to live broadcast please call in to the show at (512) 390-1370.
