I have a 14ft alum v hull, I think it's about 36 in wide.  My brothers came down and spent a month with me in June.  My middle brother is 18 and about 245 lbs. We had fished a couple times at Braunig and caught 2 fish in 4 trips.  We went up to bass pro shop and they had 100qt ice chests on sale for like $34. My brothers bought me one for a gift for my boat.  My brother and i went out the next day fishing. We hadn't had much luck so we didn't put any water or anything in the ice chest.  We started catching fish and after putting back the 3rd fish we could have kept we decided to fill up the ice chest with some water.  We didn't have a bucket or anything so instead of trying to get up to shore we just put the ice chest over the side and tried to fill it.  You can probably see where this story is going. Luckily it was June and the water was warm b/c we both got wet. Luckily this was before I got my outboard for it and we were in shallow enough water that we didn't lose anything.  My cell phone was the only thing that got ruined.
