Additional InformationOverview: Bucks and Boars Unlimited is a fair chase; 600 acre day lease located in Geneva deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas. We are 160 miles northeast of Houston and 225 miles southeast of Dallas. We are 8 miles west of the Pendleton Bridge (Tex./La. state line) at Toledo Bend Lake. We offer Whitetail and Wild Hogs. You will hunt from box stand, tripod or a ladder stand and ground blinds. Most of our locations have both, a box and tripod are ladder stand and ground blinds as to serve both gun and bow hunters. All of our stands are located at automatic corn feeders . We feed year round.We transport you to and from your stand by 4 wheeler or truck. Hunters can bring there 4 wheelers. We help you skin and quarter all your game. So bring your ice chest and ice ! We offer two rustic cabins that sleeps 2-5 hunters each.They have running water and an kitchenettes with everything you need for cooking. They has indoor toilet and we have added a bath house. The cabins are heated by a wood heaters and the lights come from a generator. You'll need to bring a sleeping bag, food and drinks and a cooler and ice for your cold foods. We are 16 miles from the nearest store and 30 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart. We have a BBQ pit for outside cooking. Went to bucks and boars last December we killed a 8point huge buck and 250 pound hog. We had a very great time . Mr and Mrs Harris were very attentive and very kind,nice people. I took my boss has never hunted and was thrilled with bucks and boars was very impressed at how the accomidation were with him we will be cmoing back for deer and doe season. Would recomend this place to anyone! these folks are like family ! Pierre,Ricardo,Steve!
Connie and Bobbie are great hosts at Bucks and boars. They made sure I was out at the stand in plenty of time before the wildlife to came out. The cabins are great and roomy and you couldn't ask for better hospitality.
This was my first trip to Bucks and Boars and it will definitely be an annual trip for me. Bobby and Connie are wonderful hosts. I helped Connie skin and quarter my doe while Bobby helped anotherhunter track his deer. The whole experience was wonderful.
This was my second trip to hunt with Bobby and Connie. It had been a couple years since my first trip. I shouldn't have waited. My Brother and I went this time and just like the first time Bobby and Connie were GREAT! I'd put money on it that you won't find a nicer more accommodating pair in this business. The property is beautiful. The accommodations are just right and the conversation is unforgettable. The hunting was exactly what fair chase should be. Bobby will put it to you straight, they'll show you what they have, and then it’s up to you. The opportunities are definitely there for seeing game. My brother and I both took deer while we were there. It turned out to be a very enjoyable and successful weekend.
A couple things of note:
1. Ask Bobby about his number one spot. HA HA. The "price" is a little steep but well worth it. I’m sold.
2. Book a weekend in the cabins. On Saturdays Connie is gonna feed you. I recommend the GUMBO. The chocolate pie was pretty good too!
Bottom line…if you want an enjoyable fair chase hunting opportunity with a family friendly atmosphere, book a hunt with Bobby and Connie. You won’t be disappointed.
