Overview:

(Reduced Price from Previous Post) This ranch is high wired in Southern McMullen County and under strict game management.  This was a complete start over on the ranch deer herd.  A total of 10 does and 2 tagged bucks were stocked in 2005 and has the herd taken off.  There has been no deer harvested during this period.  Starting slow has definatly paid off, all trail cameras have shown "no spikes" on our yearling bucks, even with a dry 2009 spring.  There will be a 135 BC to 150 BC Buck on this place waiting for the right hunter.  That's right only one buck will be harvested this year,  This ranch is supplemental fed with worlds of native, high protein forage.  Guajilllo, Granjeno, and Blackbrush dominate the ranch.  All hunting will be down senderos and oil pad locations in blinds.  We have managed to keep out all feral hogs, but javelinas and varmits will be offered with the hunt at no extra charge.  This would be a great place to start off with your first buck or a child's first deer.  Since just one deer will be taken in 2010, this ranch will be offered as a guided package hunt for 5 days.  This ranch is managed by family members and no outfitters.
