Overview:

J&L's Nooney Paw Paw Mountain Ranch is located in Edwards County in the beautiful Southwest Texas Hill Country not too far from Camp Wood and Barksdale.  The terrain is rugged and varied, ranging from pecan bottom on the East Prong of the Nueces river to deep ravines, mountainsides and mountaintop.  There are no high fences, so animals roam freely in and out to the several feeders and blinds.  The game seen includes whitetail deer, axis deer, aoudad sheep, rio grande turkey, and feral hogs.  Lodging in a nice little furnished cabin is included in the hunt package fee.  The owner is always present to assist in various details of the hunt, but this is a basic, do-it-yourself set-up when it comes to skinning and processing your own game.  A good deer hanger is on the premises for hunters to use.  Every year trophy axis and aoudad are taken, and we do offer hunts all through the year for these animals.  We take a limited number of hunts each year, so the place is not "overhunted".  For full information, please take a look at our web page:  <http://nooneypawpaw.com>
